Bluetooth distortion during calls

Ever since I got my iPhone 14 I’ve had issues with phone calls breaking up while using Bluetooth.

I was able to determine it was not my cell service bc when the call begins to breakup I can swap from Bluetooth to speaker and the call is clear.

It happens with multiple vehicles with Bluetooth connected and AirPods. So the source of the problem has to be my phone.

After 30 seconds or so I can swap back to Bluetooth and it will be fine. It unpredictable and I can’t find a pattern with it.

Hi Dunn865,

Since noticing this, has your iPhone been restarted? Restarting your iPhone can help when experiencing unexpected issues such as this one. It will force the processes running on your device to refresh.

1. Press and hold either volume button and the side button until the power off slider appears.

2. Drag the slider and wait about 30 seconds.

3. Press and hold the side button until the Apple logo appears to power it back on. Once back on, test to see if this continues.

You should also confirm that you're running the latest iOS on your device, since updates contain many bug fixes that can help your iPhone function as expected.

Hope that helps!
