I use (need) four email accounts: Apple, Gmail, iCloud, and an Office work account. I used to be able to see all emails on my iPhone and Mac (High Sierra) when I opened Apple mail. No longer. When it says it wants the account name and/or password, my question is which password? And which username if requested? And where does Exchange figure into the equation? Thanks!

Are any receiving Mail?
In Mail's Window Menu, choose Connection Doctor, any red dots for status, if so what is the exact message?
Then click the Show Details button & Check again.
Look in the Account Name column, if that is truly empty then we have some severe corruption...

This forum did not permit a screenshot of the Connection Dr. but here is what it says:
IMAP "Trying to log in to this IMAP account failed. Verify the username and password are correct."
and
SMTP "Could not connect to this SMTP server. Check your network connection and that you entered the correct information in the Account preferences."
But Again: Which username and PW or which correct information?
All the account names are there.
I made the Exchange ACCOUNT INACTIVE in case it was interfering but that didn't help.
