keep getting "unable to verify account name and password" on exchange email

apple mail quit connection to exchange email when they upgraded security, deleted and re-added and it continues to tell me it can not be verified.

Good news! You can upgrade to macOS Monterey. macOS Monterey will give your Mac the latest features and built-in apps compatible with your Mac, and should address the Mail issue you're seeing.


Visit the Apple Support article How to download and install macOS - Apple Support, and under the "Use the App Store" section, choose Monterey 12.


Before installing new software, it's a good idea to back up your Mac.
