Please follow the steps here, in order to resolve your iPhone not being recognized by your computer: If your computer doesn't recognize your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

  1. "Look in the Finder or iTunes
  2. Update the software on all devices
  3. Connect your device directly to your computer
  4. Trust your computer, if asked
  5. Allow the accessory to connect
  6. Restart your devices
  7. Try a different port, cable, or computer
  8. Contact us"

"Import to your Windows PC

You can import photos to your PC by connecting your device to your computer and using the Windows Photos app:

  2. Connect your iPhone or iPad to your PC with a USB cable.
  3. If asked, unlock your iOS or iPadOS device using your passcode.
  4. If you see a prompt on your iOS or iPadOS device asking you to Trust This Computer, tap Trust or Allow to continue."
