"Card Not Added Contact Your Card Issuer"
I recently changed phones and had a problem adding cards to Apple Pay on my new phone. So I removed all cards and started over. Still woudn't go in. I called one bank and they unblocked the card. The card then registered fine.
When I tried to put my other cards back in, one that was working previously, would not register. "Card Not Added Contact Your Card Issuer." I called the bank and they said they don't see a problem. They told me to add the card to my wallet so they can activate it. But I can't add it?
I called Apple and they told me there appears to be a registration block on the card. They said it could be my bank or Visa blocking it. So I called my bank again and they connected me to their Visa service department. One CS rep told me he saw the block and connected me to their Visa Fraud department who told me they don't see anything. So I called the bank again and they told me to stop and a branch location and get a new credit card with a new number. So I did that and the new card number they gave me won't register either? I'm stumped? Any ideas?
