Auto populate queue not working anymore in iOS 16

Hello,

Until iOS 15.7 if I play the latest podcast episode of any show the queue would populate with the following older episodes automatically.

Now since iOS 16 if I play the latest podcast of any show the queue remains empty, and it only auto populate if I choose an older podcast episode but with the newest episodes only.

Is there anything I'm missing here? I want the old behaviour back!

It is only syncing 2 of 10 daily shows. I have tried unfollowing and re-following, that didn't help. I have tried changing my settings. That didn't help. I have it set to hid all played episodes, so now I am resorting to going through and opening each show in my library to see if there is a new episode so that I can listen to it. This is a pain in my rear. It works correctly on my laptop, so it is clearly the phone update that is the issue. Anyone else experiencing this?

IOS 16: podcast app stuck on “updating library” I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling, rebooting etc. nothing works since I updated to IOS 16.1.1 when I open the app all I get is “updating library”, it’s been nearly 2 days. Any fix for this?
