Hello MSS2408,

To confirm, are you having issues signing in to your Apple ID for iCloud Mail or are you having issues with a third-party email address? If you're having issues with iCloud Mail, you'll want to begin with the steps listed below as they're specific to resolving iCloud Mail related issues. If you continue to have issue after completing those steps, you'll want to complete the remaining troubleshooting steps outlined in the following article.

  1. "Check the system status of iCloud Mail.
  2. Check that you turned on iCloud Mail:
    • On your Mac, open the Mail app then choose Mail >Preferences. Click Accounts, then select your iCloud account in the sidebar. Under Account Information, make sure that the account is turned on and the status is online.
    • On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, go to Settings > [your name] > iCloud and check that Mail is turned on.

3.Make sure you that haven't exceeded your iCloud storage limit. If you exceed your iCloud storage limit, learn how to make more space available in iCloud

4.Make sure that you're using the latest version of software on your device."

If iCloud Mail isn't working

If you're having issues with a third-party email address, does the email address appear in Settings > Mail > Accounts? If so, the troubleshooting steps outlined in the following article can be helpful in reaching a resolution. While the article may not reference the exact issue you're facing, the steps are still relevant in reaching a solution.
