Hi, I got my daughter got an Apple Watch SE. I set it up under Family Setup.
I currently have mint mobile which is not compatible with smartwatches. I wanted to get a t-mobile account for her watch but when I click on cellular under her watch, it states “The Ultra/Mint Mobile account on this iPhone cannot be used to add a cellular plan to “Xxx's Apple Watch“.”
Is there a way to connect her watch to t-mobile while I stay with mint?

What a wonderful gift! The steps to choose a different provider can be found in step 7 here: Set up Apple Watch for a family member - Apple Support
Set up cellular and Wi-Fi
If your iPhone cellular provider supports Family Setup, you can add the watch to your plan during this step.
If your carrier doesn't support Family Setup, or you'd like to use a different carrier, select Not Now.* You can choose an alternative carrier from this list of supported carriers and contact them directly to set up your cellular plan.
Next, choose whether to share your current Wi-Fi network with the Apple Watch.
