Is there a way to use a networked printer using the printer ip address? My old printer is on my home network and is easily accessed from other PCs but my iPhone 14 max pro doesn't find it.

Some printer vendors have printing apps for this case. Brother is one. Check the app store for apps from the printer vendor. You might not get all of what AirPrint offers, but you might get this to print.

To print from the iPhone the printer has to be Airprint compatible or the printer manufacturer has to provide an application.
