I know nothing about audio/video but was able to use Audio MIDI setup to get audio to play on two external speakers. But, I can't figure out how to be able to control the volume playing on the speakers using the control on the macbook pro. The volume shows a line through it when I press the volume button.

Found this while searching for help on the internet: When you enable multi-output mode, you lose the ability to change the volume using the buttons on your Mac or the standard OS controls.
Surprised but I guess I'm out of luck.
This is what I was using and was able to set up to play sound on two external speakers. But, I Can't control the volume with the macbook. I have to manually change the volume at each speaker or change the output to the macbook internal speakers in order to change the volume.
Not sure how to explain the issue any better. Thanks for any suggestions.
