Just purchased the Apple Watch SE (2nd Gen) Cellular directly from Apple as a Christmas gift for my teen daughter. I went to activate with Verizon today and am being told it is not compatible. Apple's website says it is compatible with Verizon.
Anybody have any help they can offer please?

Are you stating that you went to a Verizon location or that you attempted to activate the watch with Verizon from home.
If the latter, then that seems like a good question for Verizon as to why this particular watch isn't compatible.
Because yes, the Apple website states that watch should work with Verizon.

I chatted with a Verizon rep who said that it has esim and is not compatible. I am sure there is an error because the watch was purchased directly from
the apple store online and says it is compatible. I just don’t know what my next step should be.
