Got an old Coby MP620-4G mp3 player for christmas and the software it came with won't work on my macbook pro.
Basically i got an old NIB Coby mp3 player for Christmas and i was really excited because i used to have the same one when i was little back in 2010. It works great but therein lies the problem. It came with software needed to put music onto it and the software "Coby Media Manager" is from 2010 and although it technically is compatible and works on my 2017 MBP running MacOS Ventura, it refuses to run. It does try to open and i've even gotten it to show the bouncing icon at one point but it just refuses to open. It mostly just throws this error: “Coby Media Manager” is damaged and can’t be opened. You should move it to the Trash.
It also occasionally just throws a Java error and refuses to run. The error says "JavaApplicationStub has quit unexpectedly. Report has automatically been sent to Apple."
I just want to use my Christmas gift but it refuses to work. Can anyone help me?
