Got a 1Mii B03pro Bluetooth transmitter for my turntable. AirPod max works with it except the sound cuts off and reconnects repeatedly as if I were too far away from the transmitter. CODEC problem?

The headphones work fine with my iPhone, Windows PCs, etc. The Bluetooth transmitter had options for LL, HD and LDAC. I’ve read the the headphones are AAC only. I don’t really understand what a CODEC is but Is that my problem? If it is, is there a fix? If not, I’ll return this transmitter but which one should I buy instead? TIA.

Thank you for reaching out in Apple Support Communities. You've done a great job isolating this behavior. Since the AirPods has no issues with the sound quality being stable on an iPhone, a PC and other devices, you'll want to contact the manufacture of the Bluetooth transmitter for assistance. They can help and see if the AirPods would be a compatible device and if the transmitter may need firmware update.
