Coolmuster IOS assistant no longer recognizing my books

I' ve been using Coolmuster IOS assistant to transfer books from my iPhone to my PC, but all of a sudden, my book library is not being recognized as having any books in it. Please help! I need the large screen and this has been a lifesaver for me. As an added note, iTunes doesn't read them either and this all started about a month ago after I upgraded my phone and iPad Pro. I have turned on and off cloud sync, I've deleted and reinstalled the ibooks app, and I've torn out much of my hair. Any suggestions in settings would be greatly appreciated.
