Handoff

Hello! I recently got a new MacBook Air, and I learned of the Handoff feature. This is a 2020 model of Air (MacOS Ventura), and my iPad (which I want to use the Handoff feature on) is a Gen 6, and the iPadOS version is 16.2. I have both the Air and iPad signed into the same iCloud account, WiFi is enabled, Bluetooth is enabled, and the handoff feature is enabled on both devices. Another thing, when I go onto the notes all on my iPad, it shows up on my Air. I click on it, and then a message pops up after a short while saying 'Handoff couldn't be completed'. I really don't know what's happening.

It is not a perfect science...

verify there are no big issue on the system servers see <iCloud Notes>:

localized intermittent issues do not trigger "yellow " warnings : Apple - Support - System Status

you can try again at a later time/day and compare your results.
