How is it that Apple can’t give a refund when the developers won’t credit your game as they were supposed to when you pay. How do I get my money or credits after multiple complaints and no credits

Are we to be cheated after Apple can’t give a refund when the developers didn’t give the credits for the game. The credits never appeared. After multiple complaints, the developers still haven’t given me my credits. At this point what do I do in order to either get my game credits. Is there a gaming commissioner or someone I could go to in order to complaint? The game is Jackpot Party /SciPlay. This is not fair considering, I paid my money but didn’t get anything in return. I love the game but I don’t love my money being taken away.

I understand you requested a refund for an in-app purchase you didn’t receive, but the request was denied. I’ll be glad to help check on this.

Your refund request was evaluated by Apple. When reviewing a request for a refund, Apple considers all factors related to the request, including account and payment details. Apple evaluates all requests according to policy. In this case, it was determined you are ineligible for a refund.

If you’d like to learn more about our refund policy, see this page:

Legal - Apple Media Services - Apple

Apple doesn't have the ability to restore these types of purchases for you. If you weren't able to restore your purchases, you’ll need to continue working with the developer. To learn how to contact the app's developer, see this article:

How to contact an app developer - Apple Support

Because this issue persists, I recommend that you avoid making any further in-app purchases from this app until the developer confirms that the issue is resolved.

Note: Although we mentioned third-party products in this email, Apple doesn’t recommend or endorse these products.

Thank you for your understanding.

Hi Limnos, thanks for your response. I have asked for a refund and another time, stated it’s a quality issue. Apple says that can’t give a refund but really didn’t go into specifics other than it’s a third party.

Apple have given a refund in the past. The gamer states they are looking into it but that was about all. It’s been a while and finally Apple says no refund

Apple considers all App Store sales final. Refunds are given on an exception basis. It has been my observation, based on the posts I’ve seen here, that, if you ask for refunds for the same reasons more than once or twice, Apple will decline them.

Not exactly, and so not cool for the sarcasm…I mean that they say they stand by their word. Not asking them to override their policies, I Dont believe that all customers are right…I’m just saying, I paid for the product and between Apple and the developers of the game, they have cheated a loyal customer and refuse to refund or credit what the customer paid for. The credits never materialized. Furthermore, the policy shouldn’t be gray at all. I pay to play. It shouldn’t even matter whether it’s company policy or not. They have something to sale and I bought it fair and square. The credits or the refund belongs to me. I’m just wondering how in the heck I get absolutely nothing except, pass the buck between the paying customer and I get nothing. Not cool, not funny
