Hi Ryan Gamo,

It sounds like you need to reset the Apple ID password on a child account. If so, for help with doing so check the found in the article here: Create an Apple ID for your child

This does eventually lead to the article you started from: Change your Apple ID password

The section "Change your child's Apple ID password" found below, and in that same article can further assist.

"Change your child's Apple ID password

If you have an iPhone or iPad with the latest version of iOS or iPadOS and two-factor authentication turned on for your Apple ID, you can change the Apple ID password for a child account in your Family Sharing group.

  1. Tap Settings > Family > your child's account.
  2. Tap Apple ID & Password.
  3. Tap Change [Child's Name] Password.
  4. Enter your device passcode and follow the onscreen instructions.

I followed the instructions already:

  1. Tap Settings > Family > your child's account.
  2. Tap Apple ID & Password.
  3. Tap Change [Child's Name] Password.
  4. Enter your device passcode and follow the onscreen instructions.

After entering my device pin for #4, there is no additional onscreen pops up. I am expecting a form where you can enter the new password for the child account.
