Printing from iPhone

When trying to print from my iPhone 13 Pro Max (iOS 16.1), the photo and/or document switches to black and white only. There is no option to change to colour. I can print the photo/document in colour from my MacBook Air using the same printer on the same network.

Any suggestions please?

Printing in color with iPhone pro max 15 I have literally tried everything I could think of. Last week everything was fine. Yesterday I went to print & it changed it from color to black & white. Shut everything down, restarted, disconnected - reconnected. I don’t know what else to do & I have very important things to print that need done asap. Please help. I have iPhone 15 pro max & hp deskjet printer. Like I said everything was fine last week, I didn’t do anything new but now it will only print in black and white or grey.

Not printing from iPad Printing from my iPad has worked fine up until a week or so ago. When I try to print, the name of the printer appears but quite quickly disappears. I've tried to hit 'Print' before the disappearance but it still fails. I have two iPhones, two Macbooks and an iMac - I can print from all these devices. I've tried the usual switching off and back on but that didn't work. The iPad is currently on 17.6.1. Any ideas?
