Can't add Outlook to Sharing Extension

Hi. I can't add Outlook to my sharing extensions on iMac. I can see it on the list to tick or untick but when I click it, it won't 'tick'.... any suggestions?

iMac 24″, macOS 13.0

Thanks for coming to Apple Support Communities for help today.


It's possible this is a feature that isn't supported by the Outlook app on macOS. You could isolate the issue further by creating a new user account on your Mac. Then you'd sign in with your current Apple ID and download your Outlook app. Test the sharing feature from here. This will isolate the issue to your user or system-wide. Here's how to Add a user or group on Mac.


If you find it does not work inside the new user account either, then most likely the feature isn't supported. You'd want to contact the app developer in this case. Here's How to contact an app developer.


"Contact the developer of a macOS app


  1. Open the App Store on your Mac.
  2. Click the sign-in button  or your photo. 
  3. A list of apps appears. Click the app that you want. If you can't find the app, use the search bar.
  4. The app's product page appears. Click Support or App Support. If you don't see Support or App Support, make sure that you're signed in with the correct Apple ID."


Let us know if it does indeed work as expected in the new user account.
