⌘+A in Calendar

I am in search of a work-around for the lack of a "Select All" feature in Calendar. Cmd+A only works in Month view, but I need to use it for a single day's activities (ideally while in Week view).

I am not a programmer, but it seems using Automator or raw AppleScript might work. I can do a little fiddling with code, but I haven't been able to figure this out.

While not as ideal, it would still be helpful if I could at least preserve the clipboard from a previous copy and apply it as a paste later. That way, I don't have to manually select every event again before copy-pasting - I can quickly go back to the previous clipboard entry. It doesn't work when I paste into TextEdit and then try the reverse copy-paste. I also tried my hand at Automator and got it to one-by-one select and copy using mouse movements, but the results within Automator did not show anything and I couldn't get it to consistently work since just moving the iCal window a little prevents the mouse from being in the same place.

Any ideas/help would be appreciated, thank you.

Thank you, I have done that. Until such an update un-grays the Select All command, do you have any ideas for a work-around such as using AppleScript or via another avenue? As I think about it more, even just the ability to use the keyboard to move and continually select from one event to the next would be faster than using a mouse to click on each one.
