missing pictures

when I recently backed up my Apple XR to the iCloud and then restored to my new phone, I am missing a year of pictures. I go from 2019, 2020, to 2022. I know I took pictures during that time, where did they go? how do I find them and get them on my new phone and computer?

Missing photos I switched from an iPhone 8+ to an iPhone 14 pro in February and about a month ago I realized most of my photos from 2019 and prior are missing. Is there any way to get them back?

2 months of photos are missing from my iPhone's camera roll I recently noticed that 2 months of photos from last summer are missing from my iPhone's camera roll. I checked iCloud, which had been recently backed up, and they are not there either. They are not in my recently deleted or hidden folders, and they are not in my iPhone's latest backup either. I was wondering how they could've disappeared without my deletion. I additionally have a lot of storage on my iPhone and iCloud, so I know storage is not the issue. These pictures are very important to me (such as my high school graduation) and I would really really like to recover them. [Re-Titled by Moderator]
