Auto rotate will not work on iPad 9th gen

Is it for everything or just a single app? Some apps will not rotate.

if it’s everything, go to the home page and swipe down from the upper corner. If you see a little padlock with a circular arrow around it that’s the rotation lock. Turn that off and see if your device rotates.
