Permanently Closed

My Business is on iMaps as being permenantly closed. We have never been closed in 25 years. How do I get this switched to saying open 24/7. Also, is there a way to find out who did this and when?

I can help you with this!

I love Apple Maps and have added lots of businesses!

Find your business in Apple Maps and click "More", then click "Report an Issue".

Click on "Other or Multiple Things are Wrong".

Correct the details (add your hours, add a phone number, etc.) and submit it.

I don't know if there's anyway to find out why it is marked permanently closed. Make sure your building is in the right place on the map, move it to the right building if it's not.

Troubleshooting a iMaps Address:

Ask Apple Support. There is no way for anyone on these forums to know who did this and why. Apple Support, on the other hand, has access to your information, and would have that answer upfront, and (if permitted), who'll provide you with that info upfront, right over the phone.

Contact Apple Support:

  • Contact Us - Choose Locations
  • Proceed from there as necessary
  • Note: Phone calls are taking a bit to go through at the moment, due to lots of calls. With the Coronavirus Pandemic, many are at home at the moment, with much time on their hands to contact Apple. So, just stay on the line, and you will get through :)
