Business marked as "Permanently Closed"

I added our business to apple maps about 4 weeks ago and it was working perfectly fine with all the correct information. After a week I realized I put the wrong number for the address because the pin was on the wrong building. So I updated it on Apple Business Connect. Since then (3 weeks ago), our business hours say "Permanently Closed".


Our "Hours" and "Open Status" on Business Connect say the correct hours and that we are open, but when you look us up it still says we are closed. I even tried changing both options to something different, then changing them back but it still just says "Permanently Closed".


We have submitted multiple reports as well about the listing from my device and different devices but nothing has changed. We are going on 3 weeks now and I am completely out of ideas for how to fix our business saying "Permanently Closed".

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. Sounds like your place of business is incorrectly showing up as "Permanently Closed" on the Maps app. We can understand how this would be an issue. It also appears that you've already done a great job in attempting to update this information with no success. You can try to report an issue with the Maps app. Follow these steps here:


1.) Find the location that you'd like to report.

2.) Tap on the location and select the "More.." option.

3.) This will open a pop-up menu, select "Report an Issue".

4.) From here, you'll want to select "Other or multiple things are wrong".

5.) Set the correct hours and at the bottom where it says Add a comment, say "This business is OPEN".


Just in case your issue continues to occur, please reach out to Business Connect support. They might be able to assist you further. Follow these steps:


1.) Visit the Business Connect website: Apple Business Connect

2.) Sign in with your Apple ID.

3.) On the top right corner click on the "?" icon and select Support.
