Business showing as Permanently Closed on Apple Maps

Our business has been marked as permanently closed on Apple Maps

I have claimed the business previously on Apple Business Connect and on there it says that we are open but on Apple Maps it is saying we are closed.

I have had no email or alert to notify me of that someone had reported us as closed

I have reported the issue on the maps app.

I am very annoyed that this change can be made without any sort of notification or allowing me to deny the change as I am listed as business owner on the Apple Business Connect

Can anyone help me to get this changed back ASAP and also stop this from happening in the future.

We are a community of end users, not Apple, and as such cannot fix this common and recurring issue. There is no support for Apple's Business and Education initiatives here so you need to talk to Apple. They are not here other than as as small cadre of moderators.

In addition to reporting through the Maps apps, there are also separate feedback links for both the macOS and iOS versions of Maps. I recommend using those as well:

Feedback - Maps for iOS and iPadOS - Apple

Feedback - Maps for OS X - Apple

When I had to report the gross mislocation of a local museum where I volunteer, it took almost two weeks before the Maps people contacted me by email, so watch your emails. Once we were in contact, the issue was fully resolved in under 36 hours.

TIP: Based on my episode of reporting a Map error, I believe that if "another" map service has the information shown correctly, mentioning that fact seems to help "grease the skids." Nudge, nudge.

In Apple Business Connect, I'm assuming you have changed the "Status" to "Open" under your location. Also, please double-check your business hours.

When you're changing the status, there's a text saying "Schedule a status change", so it will take time for them to verify the change and apply it. I've seen updates take around 4-7 days to appear on Apple Maps.

Thanks

Similar frustration here. Apple Maps has the designation "Permanently Closed" on a location I manage, even though it is actually operational. I have been sure to keep the information accurate and updated on businessconnect.apple.com (including the Hours the location in question is open), and also submitted multiple tickets in recent weeks and months via the "Report an Issue" option in Apple Maps, yet the designation remains. Each submission simply is rostered as reviewed and closed with the message: "Thanks for Your Report. We couldn't update Maps based on the information you provided."

That's it... with no explanation and no guidance as to what to do next.

Any suggestions?
