Preserving Events Info when migrating iPhoto to Photos

When I open an iPhoto library stored on an external HDD that is connected to my 14" M1 MBP (Monterey 12.5.1), I am forced to convert it into a Photos library. I've grown to accept that, but my Q is this: Is there any way to preserve the Events structure when doing so, including the descriptions or titles I painstakingly created for each iPhoto Event (see attached sample)? Thank you.
