I have read that there is an realy bad audio lag between Apple TV 4K and the Homepod Minis. Is this problem solved when you contact the Homepod Minis via ARC or eARC?

If your Apple TV is connected to a home theatre receiver or TV using an HDMI cable, you may experience audio latency, a delay that sounds like an echo when playing audio on both receiver speakers and a wireless speaker.
You can use an iPhone to calibrate the audio signal on your Apple TV so that all speakers play in sync.

Going through this process may perhaps correct any lag that you've heard about.

In eARC mode, on the original HomePod, it was about 120ms. I would imagine the Minis see a similar reduction, but I won't be able to test this until I get a newer Apple TV and probably an HDMI switch that supports eARC. Will update you if/when that happens.
