does low storage make your apple maps glitch

My Apple Maps has been glitching bad is it so to me having no storage? My location and stuff is on so that’s not the problem

Steps taken to address issue: Delete/redownload app + cleared stored guides (did not work); Cleared maps history (from Apple Support): Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services > System Services, then tap Significant Locations. Tap Clear History (did not work); Create backup + restore the device + redownload back up onto iPhone (from Apple Support) (WORKED). Third option was the winner. Although time consuming, Apple Maps is now less than 100 MB in storage.

Apple Maps taking too much storage space Why is my Apple Maps taking so much space(3gb) ? I tried to uninstall it but data remains ? How can I get rid of it ?

Apple Maps taking up excessive storage on iPhone My Apple maps has been taking up a lot of storage. It went from 2GB to 5GB and now it is 11GB. I do not have anything on maps as I do not use it. When I deleted the app, it still shows 11GB for documents and data and the storage is still expanding which is taking most of my phone storage. Pls help me with this issue.
