Migration to new MacBook Pro.

I am trying to migration files from the old MacBook Pro to a new MacBook Pro but it won’t complete because of the incompatible flash and software so I cancelled it before it completed, now should I reset my new MacBook Pro to factory setting to clean out what in there? How to reset it?

Hi,

I think you should start using new MacBook Pro from the factory setting since new MacBook Pro may be Apple silicon and old one is Intel. You can use Intel native applications on Apple silicon MacBook Pro with Rosetta, though if I were you, I will use new MacBook Pro from the scratch.

You can factory resetting by Recovery mode on new MacBook Pro.
