Can't see my visual voicemail :(

Hello all,

About a month ago I noticed that my voicemails were no longer transcribing. I could play the voicemail, but the transcription wasn't showing up underneath . And the old messages that I had saved also lost their transcriptions. I called my carrier Mint Mobile. They use the T-Mobile network.They said they saw no error on my account. They had me reset my network settings. That didn't work. They suggested I ask Apple. I have an iPhone SE 1st generation, running iOS 15.7.1.

Okay, I just got my question answered on a Apple Chat with Advisor "Steven"!

He suggested I go to Settings > Siri & Search > switch on Listen for "Hey Siri" > switch on Press Home for Siri. He also made sure that Language was set to English (United States).

I left myself a voicemail and it worked! He also said the saved voicemail messages should re-transcribe within 24 hours. If not, he suggested using the dictation function in an app (eg. Messages) then checking back to see if I can see the transcriptions. I'll update this when I have the information.
