Wrong location in homekit

I have three homes configurated in homekit and my iPhone fails to update to the home of my current location. My homes are automated and controlled with Siri so this is fairly annoying. On my iPad on the other hand, things work just fine. I am using Apple TV latest gen as hub. Have tried all the usual tricks, updating, restarting, resetting with no success. All tips and tricks would be appreciated

Hi jonaston,

Thanks for the additional information. Let's focus on Siri and Location Services to see if we can resolve this.

1. Clear Siri History: How to delete your Siri history

2. Turn Location Services off: Turn Location Services and GPS on or off on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

3. Restart your iPhone: Restart your iPhone

4. Turn Location Service back on and test.

If you're still not getting Siri to realize your iPhone is at home, we'd advise to contact Apple Support. They can look further into what may be happening with your iPhone.

Hello jonaston,

Thank you for reaching out to Apple Support Communities, and we'll be happy to help in any way we can. We understand you're having issues with your current location with Home. Try the steps listed here to see if they resolve the issue: Create scenes and automations with the Home app

"Create an automation

If you set up a home hub, you can trigger an accessory or scene based on the time of day, your location, sensor detection, and more. Create an automation that triggers your "I'm Here" scene when someone in your family arrives home. Or have all of the lights in a room turn on when a motion sensor detects movement.

Create an automation based on an accessory's action

When an accessory turns on, off, or detects something, you can automate other accessories and scenes to react and perform actions.

  1. In the Home app, tap or click the Add button , then select Add Automation .
  2. To start an automation when an accessory turns on or off, choose An Accessory is Controlled. Or choose A Sensor Detects Something.
  3. Select the accessory that starts the automation, then tap or click Next.
  4. Choose the action that triggers the automation, like if the accessory turns on or opens, then tap or click Next.
  5. Select scenes and accessories that react to the action, then tap or click Next.
  6. To adjust an accessory on iPhone or iPad, touch and hold it. On Mac, click the accessory.
  7. Tap or click Done.

Want to get an alert when an accessory detects something? Learn how to set up notifications for your accessories."

Make sure the app also has access to your location as outlined here: Turn Location Services and GPS on or off on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

We hope this helps.

Cheers!

Thanks for replying! I followed the steps but unfortunately it didn’t do the trick. GPS services works fine on all other apps on my iPhone but Home refuses to switch to where I am at now. Could it be related to the Apple TV that I use as hub? I did use that one in another home before. But that doesn’t explain why the problem is only at my phone and not the iPad. I could factory reset the Apple TV but then I am afraid I will lose all HomeKit integrations such as Plejd and others attached image shows location arrow even though i am not there
