My iPad screen has a black stripe on the right side? What now?

Have you tried restarting your iPad? This can sometimes clear up minor software issues. Also, if the device is unresponsive you can try force restarting it:

"Force restart iPad (models with the Home button)

Press and hold the top button and the Home button at the same time. When the Apple logo appears, release both buttons"
