Ventura 13.1 unable to connect to Time Capsule

Ever since the 13.1 update my M1 Max MacBook Pro cannot connect to the Time Capsule (firmware 7.9.1). It just stops after trying to connect to it for a few minutes.

If I click the red "!" I get a message the disc may have been disconnected or isn't available. However if I right click and chose "Verify backup", the disc verify them as it's supposed to. So there's no problem to access the disc and the backups when verifying, but not when trying to make a new backup.

I have tried restarting, turning on and off again, connecting and disconnecting from the network, but alas.

It worked perfectly until the Ventura 13.1 was installed. I made no changes in the settings. That is why I think it's related to the update.

All suggestions are welcome!

I'm sorry to hear that you are having trouble connecting your MacBook Pro to your Time Capsule after updating to macOS 13.1. Here are a few steps you can try to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:

  1. Restart both devices: Try restarting both your MacBook Pro and your Time Capsule to see if that resolves the problem.
  2. Check for updates: Make sure that both your MacBook Pro and your Time Capsule are running the latest software. You can check for updates by going to the "System Preferences" on your MacBook Pro and clicking on the "Software Update" panel.
  3. Check your network settings: Make sure that your MacBook Pro is connected to the same network as your Time Capsule. You can check your network settings by going to the "System Preferences" and clicking on the "Network" panel.
  4. Reset the Time Capsule: If you are still having trouble, you may want to try resetting your Time Capsule. To do this, unplug the power cord from the Time Capsule, wait a few seconds, then plug it back in and see if the problem persists.
  5. Check for hardware issues: If you have tried all of the above steps and are still experiencing problems, it's possible that you may have a hardware issue with your Time Capsule. You may want to try a different Ethernet cable or try connecting your MacBook Pro to the Time Capsule using a different port.

I hope these steps are helpful in troubleshooting and resolving the issue you are experiencing with your Time Capsule. If you continue to have problems, it may be best to contact Apple support for further assistance.
