About iPhone 11 Pro Max with MagSafe charging

Hi There,

Not experienced with MagSafe so far, but want to upgrade my iPhone 11 Pro Max. But I need to know few things before going for it.

1# I know it cannot charge at 15W, it will charge at 7.5W like regular Qi which I use. Now my ultimate question is is it safe to use MagSafe with iPhone 11 as its not designed for that.

2# There have lots of aftermarket products, few cases comes with built in ring which is actually a strong magnet and few attachment/adhesive rings are just a metal ring (non magnet). Is it safe to put on a magnet ring case all time on the phone? Not sure what stock iphone 12,13,14 have, a metal or a magnet in it itself.

Hello Soumen_Sam,

The MagSafe Charger maintains compatibility with Qi charging, so it can be used to wirelessly charge your iPhone 11 Pro Max.

However, the magnetic alignment experience only applies to iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Pro, iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Pro, iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro models. Without the magnetic alignment, MagSafe chargers can also charge other iPhone models and AirPods.
