I used quick start to "transfer my data" to a new i-phone (same model 10). I'm starting a new job soon and wanted to keep my data on new phone. Now they both ring when my old phone is called?

I can't send a text from the new phone either???

How do I get rid of the old work phone number connection on my new phone? I have a new SIM in the phone with straight talk and new phone number and I can call it and make calls from it.

It cloned the old phone to the new... Just wanted to keep the data and apps. Is there a fix for this???

Hello MrWittster,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities! It sounds like you need help with phone calls on multiple devices. We completely understand why you'd reach out, and are happy to help.

It sounds like you may need to check a few things. First, make sure that you've contacted your carrier to ensure the new phone is the active one on your plan. Next, let's make sure you have Calls on Other Devices set to not ring that other device. The following article has some information that may help you resolve this issue.

Allow phone calls on your iPad, iPod touch, and Mac

Please have a look and let us know if this helps!

Cheers!
