Just picked up a new laptop for a DJ controller I’ve also just purchased. The DJ software (rekordbox) allows me to use my iTunes library. So installed the app from the store and nothing works in iTunes. Both my library and store items load, but don’t move from 0 seconds and don’t play. Seems strange the store items also not working? Any ideas please?
Use Edit > Preferences > Playback and look at the entry for Play Audio Using. This will normally be set to either Direct Sound or Windows Audio Session. Changing to the other setting may help. If not set back to the first option and apply once more.

If needs be see Authorize or deauthorize your computer for iTunes Store purchases - Apple Support. Signing into your Apple ID doesn't authorize the computer as well, that is a separate operation.
Repeated requests to authorize an already authorized computer for recent store downloads typically indicates you have corrupt or incomplete copies. Delete the tracks that won't play from your library without hiding from your purchase history. Redownload using the cloud links that should remain, or close iTunes/Music and reopen if they don't show up straight away. While downloading click the activity widget and turn off the option that allows for simultaneous downloads.

Do you have any third party security software? Did you install iTunes from the Microsoft Store or with a standard setup.exe installer? If you used an installer did you right-click on it and run as administrator. Is Rekordbox meant to control playback in iTunes, or does it access the iTunes library but play in its own interface?

It’s a brand new laptop so no security software, iTunes installed from the MS store and rekordbox accesses the library but uses own interface. It’s the lack of playback from the iTunes Store that’s throwing me.
I cannot get any of my songs to pay on my computer. It says the computer is not authorized. I have a Mac and I am signed in.
