Apple ID Reentry

Actually, it wasn’t the icloud sign in directle. I receive a notice that says “update Apple ID Settings”. When I enter the correct password, it just returns to the same screen, but then I cannot enter anything…It just continues back to that original. I have tried to shut the phone off and restart, but it again asks for ID password, and repeats the issue.


i have reentered new passwords 5 times, and my iPad will accept the password, the iphone 12 Pro Max will not.

Are all of your devices updated? If not, let's make sure they are updated.


Update your iPhone or iPad


Also, what happens if you go to iCloud.com? Some people have reported success by going to iCloud.com from a computer and logging in.

Set up iCloud Keychain


1. Tap Settings, tap [your name], then choose iCloud.
2. Tap Passwords and Keychain.*
3. Turn on iCloud Keychain. You might be asked for your passcode or Apple ID password.
