How do I find if my phone is refurbished

Honestly, it doesn't matter. If the phone was refurbished by Apple, it is indistinguishable from new (except for the model number). The screen is new, the battery is new. Other parts are possibly new. It has the remainder of your original warranty or 90 days, whichever is longer.

If Apple replaced the phone because your first phone was having problems, you can be virtually certain that the replacement phone is a refurbished version.
