Hi - I'm retiring my old IMac and before I send it off for recycling I followed the steps to perform a "factory reset" (including signing out of ICloud / IMessage). When restarting the machine I now get the following screen.
My question is this - am I good to go ahead and recycle the machine knowing all personal data is removed?

Yes, if you’re returning it to an Apple Store.
No. Stick to Apple, no need not to. They do this for free.

I would not trust anyone else other than Apple for recycling. If possible, use them: Free recycling - Apple.
