I have an iPhone XR for a few weeks now content on emails and Apple News has not been loading, this is also happening on my husband’s iPhone we have altered nothing in settings so is this a bug from the updates? I have tried switching the ‘private relay’ on in iCloud as I’d seen this suggested, but this drastically slowed everything down. Help!!

It's possible that the issue you're experiencing with content not loading in emails and Apple News could be caused by a bug in the operating system or a problem with the app itself.

There are a few things you can try to resolve the issue:

  1. Check for updates: Make sure that you have the latest version of the operating system installed on your iPhone. To check for updates, go to Settings > General > Software Update.
  2. Restart your iPhone: Sometimes simply restarting your device can resolve minor issues. To do this, press and hold the power button until the "slide to power off" option appears, then slide the power off switch to the right. Wait a few seconds, then press and hold the power button again to turn your iPhone back on.
  3. Reset your network settings: Sometimes issues with connectivity can cause problems with loading content. To reset your network settings, go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. Keep in mind that this will erase any saved Wi-Fi passwords or configurations, so you may need to re-enter those after resetting your network settings.
  4. Check your internet connection: Make sure that you have a stable and fast internet connection. If you're using Wi-Fi, try switching to cellular data or vice versa to see if that resolves the issue.
  5. Reinstall the app: If the issue persists, you may want to try uninstalling and then reinstalling the app. To do this, tap and hold on the app icon until the option to delete the app appears, then tap "Delete." Next, go to the App Store and search for the app, then tap "Get" to reinstall it.

I hope these suggestions help! If the issue persists, it may be a good idea to contact Apple support for further assistance.
