iCloud Drive trigger_sync file

When viewing iCloud.com, the main page shows there’s a trigger_sync file in my Drive. I’m unable to open the file, and when I click Drive I am unable to see the file name. Anyone know what this is?

Cannot search Sync folder on external drive? I use Sync for cloud storage, and it had saved over 200GB of data on my hard drive. I bought a Western Digital 2TB My Passport drive and moved my Sync folder to it. Now I can't search for files - when I do, I get wither a few random results or a large set of results that are not correct (i.e., it's showing me files that do not have the search terms in their file names, or associating files with the wrong file name). I'm really trying to avoid reformatting this drive - it took two days and over half my monthly data allotment to get it synced. Western Digital says it's not their problem. Help?

iCloud for Windows sync If I add or modify a file in my iCloud Drive, I don't see that it instantly recognizes the change, but every hour only. Why ? Thank you.

Apple needs a "force iCloud Drive Sync" feature I regularly bounce between working on my iMac Pro and MacBook Pro and I need files to be in sync on iCloud Drive - all too often I have to wait as much as an hour or more for everything to sync up. Apple needs to add a menu item when we control click a file to 'force sync'. I don't need iCloud to review 70,000 files that haven't changed since yesterday.
