Before my phone glitched I had 37,000 photos and now after the glitch My phone has only 8,000 and the months with photos i can see are april-now but in april and may there’s only two photos!!! Also the ENTIRE 2020-2021 pictures are gone, every single photo gone…HELPPP!!!

Disappearance of photos after updating to iOS 18.3 On my iPhone 15 pro max, after updating to IOS 18.3, all my photos before 05.09.2024 have disappeared from the camera roll. My photos from 2014 to now were there. Now, no photos from 2014 to 05.09.2024 are saved in the camera roll. I have not deleted them intentionally or unintentionally. I have tried all the ways that Apple Support advise me in their articles,to get my photos back, but I have not had success. Please, can anybody here find a way to get my previous photos back.

New IPhone 15 pro max not saving or capturing pictures BEWARE!!! Brand new iPhone 15 pro max on iOS 17.1.2 with over 200 GB available. Took several pictures today at Christmas lunch and NONE of them were saved or captured. Once I noticed I couldn’t find the newly taken pictures, I did some test pictures, they did not save either. I rebooted the phone and now experiencing intermittent saving. DO NOT TRUST YOUR iPhone 15! It’s buggy trash. PS - this is the first time owning an IPhone. Considering going back to Samsung - much more reliable.

Some photos taken recently after iOS 18 have grey boxes. I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max. I have never had an issue with taking photos and then not showing in my gallery, until this past weekend. I upgraded to the iOS 18 before my trip to backcountry hiking. Now there are photos in my gallery that are greyed out. I was in an area with no service but I’ve been in this area before and never had an issue with photos or videos. I have always done the iCould storage. There are plenty of them there are in a section that says unable to upload. If I try anything with the grey box it says “Cannot Load Photo. There was an error loading this photo” And it’s weird because I have one photo that shows then six more greyed out then another one showing. There is no recovery album in my utilities section. Are these photos lost for good? Is there any workaround to get them? I’m gonna be really upset with Apple if this keeps happening after upgrading to iOS 18. Again, I never had any issues with my photos and videos saving and showing on my phone.
