Yamaha THR10II to Macbook Pro - No connection

Hello, I can't get the Yamaha THR10II amp to communicate with the Macbook Pro. The THR shows in Bluetooth and says I have a connection, but there is no sound through headphones on the THR or in recording playback on the Macbook, in either audio or video; no sound is produced when playing back; nothing happens when the THR is plugged into the Macbook Pro via a USB connection, nor is there any way to give access to the THR in the camera/microphone settings - or anywhere else in the settings for that matter. Any assistance is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
