I've completed the migration from my old imac to my new one and am at the verification step for sign in with my apple ID. This step is stuck - I entered the verification code and the grey wheel has been spinning endlessly. I even got a new verification code. How long does this take?

Thanks. Ended up w long chat and apple support phone call. End result is for my ID to be recognized, I have to update the software (first have to do backup), then restart and my Apple ID should get recognized. Very long and involved diagnostic session, but at least I'm up and running on new imac.

It should only take a moment, if it hangs up shut down the Mac and restart it. If you continue to run into problems, please call AppleCare.
