Suggestions to fix family sharing not working?

Wife shared her purchases with me. We both have iphone xsmax. Same id used for her phone, purchases and sharing. I see her on my phone as the organizer. I am listed on both phones as "Adult" with my id. She bought an album this morning from Apple Music but as of this afternoon I cannot see it on my phone. We removed me as a member and re-added me on her phone. I signed out of my phone and back in. Her latest purchases do not show up. I will say some old stuff shows up on my phone that she bought years ago, but I don't even see that stuff in her list of purchases so not sure whats up with that. Apple users used to be able to share content by signing into their family member's accounts, but that was before Family Sharing.
