LCD screen needs replacement but i was able to still connect it to hdmi before but this suddenly happens now. :(

Is it worth it to have it fixed for $500? Do you think it will save me expenses of buying a new one for 2 years atleast?

or buy macbook air m1 instead?

A replacement has a 90 warranty for parts and services.

You have to do your own calculus to figure out if it it worth to you or not.

You can buy a brand new M1 Macbook Air for $999
