Shared Albums

I just switched to a new iPhone and trying to set up my shared albums in photos. I don’t have a Shared Albums toggle in settings to turn it on? Does anyone know of a solution. This is iPhone 14 pro max.

Hello Anya8023,

Let's start off by checking the helpful steps in this article which can help with this issue: How to use Shared Albums in Photos on your iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Begin by following this guidance:

"Before you begin

      1. Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to the latest iOS or iPadOS, your Mac to the latest macOS, and your Apple TV 4K or Apple TV HD to the latest tvOS. If you have a Windows PC, update to Windows 10 or later and download iCloud for Windows.
      2. Set up iCloud on all of your devices.
      3. Make sure that you’re signed in to iCloud with the same Apple ID on all of your devices that you want to use with Shared Albums.

Turn on Shared Albums

      • On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, go to Settings > [your name] > iCloud > Photos, then turn on Shared Albums.
      • On your Mac, open the Photos app. From the menu bar at the top of the screen, choose Photos > Settings. In macOS Monterey or earlier, choose Photos > Preferences. Click the iCloud tab, then select Shared Albums.
      • On your Apple TV, go to Settings > Users and Accounts > iCloud and turn on Shared Albums.
      • On your Windows PC, open iCloud for Windows and select Photos. Click the Options button to verify that Shared Albums is on, then click Apply. Learn more about sharing albums with iCloud for Windows."

On your screenshot, it shows that iCloud Photos is currently syncing, so try these steps once that is complete. Let us know if we can help with anything else at all or if this doesn't settle your issue so we can look into this further with you. Thanks and have a fabulous day!
