So, I watched a video on my iPad recently and the only way to remove the video control was to reboot… not the most convenient way to do that!
I found a query on this forum that said to close the app, but that won’t work; at least on my iPad (w/iOS16.2).
Any other suggestions to close obstinate video controls?

Delete the app, then redownload it
Delete the app. When you do this, you might lose data that was stored in the app. Then redownload the app. Then check to see if the problem with the app is fixed.
