If you have worked through the steps included in the article you came from, If your external display isn't detected or appears blurry when connected to your Mac - Apple Support, and are still having an issue, isolating the original would be the next step.


To do this, try using a different cable and see if that helps.


Next, connect the MacBook Pro to another external monitor and see if the same problem occurs.


Be sure to test both ports on the MacBook Pro to see if the issue is with the port itself.


Once you have figured out where the issue is originating, you can concentrate your troubleshooting there.
