iMessage apps not working on all of my devices

iMessage apps not working

on my iPhone, the iMessage apps above the keyboard such as Memoji or #images aren’t working, and neither are any that come with downloading apps - I can click on them but they don’t open :( this has been an issue for a couple of years now as of Jan 2023

the only ones that do work are Apple Music and photos. Please help - I don’t know what is going on!

Hey there Mi166python,

From your description, it sounds like this has been going on for awhile. During this time, have you tried restarting the device? If not, start there: Restart your iPhone.

Check for an apply any available software updates: Update your iPhone or iPad. You can do this from: Settings > General > Software update. Be sure to back up your data first.
